2024 - 2025 Academic Year Session Dates

August 15, 2024 - March 15, 2025

Imagine a world where every child has the freedom to explore vast oceans, enchanted forests, and distant galaxies, all from the comfort of their home. This world is possible with your help. We invite your organization to be a cornerstone in building a foundation of literacy for children in underserved communities through the Pages of Promise campaign.

Pages of Promise is a semester-long initiative for student clubs, fraternities, and sororities, dedicated to raising funds and awareness for Books in Homes USA, an organization that provides free books to children from low-income families.

This campaign is more than a fundraiser; it’s a movement towards creating equitable access to education and fostering a lifelong love of reading.

Why should your organization participate?

  • Make a Direct Impact: Your involvement will help place books in the hands of children eager to learn, dream, and achieve.

  • Leadership and Development: Spearhead events, manage campaigns, and inspire action. Enhance your leadership skills, build your resume, and make meaningful connections.

  • Strengthen Your Community: Strengthen the bonds within your organization and your ties to the community by working together toward a common goal.

  • Live Your Values: Demonstrate your commitment to the core values of service and education.

  • Learn from Experts: All clubs who participate will be invited to a live virtual career talk and Q&A with Jason Braid, CEO, Mainfreight Americas.

As a special bonus, any club or organization who raises more than $1,000 / semester will be entered to win a $500 visa gift card!
